Goodman ensured New Zealand Post had direct input into the quality, financial and design aspects of its new facilities, throughout the design and build process.
“We took a cooperative approach to the development, understanding New Zealand Post’s needs first and then designing a solution,” says John Dakin.
“Understanding their business, and maintaining a close relationship throughout, meant that we could respond to their changing needs.”
Developers Goodman led the site planning, consent process, design and construction and internal fit out.
Green Star rating principles were prioritised throughout the design and build, with water solar heating and other measures to reduce power consumption features of the new facilities.
